1. Our company was originally located at No. 480, Bansong Yuan road, in south of Nanpu Bridge, the first bridge across Huangpu River. This place was the famous garden of the south of the Yangtze River during Songhu battle on August 13th, 1937. In order to make room for 2010 Shanghai Expo, our company relocated at No. 188, Jinhui road, Fengxian district in November of 2007.
2. The root of our company is Tianxin machines factory, established in 1946, located in Wangda road of Bansong Yuan, near Huangpu River in Shanghai, mainly engaged in ship repair.
3. Shanghai Jianshe Machinery Factory was combined by several small private factories in 1956. In 1950s, the company was famous for its “little strokes fell great oaks” spirit and became a good example in China mechanical industry.
4. In 1989, Shanghai Jianshe Machinery Factory was merged with Luqiao (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd, with Shanghai Mechanical & Electrical Industry Co., Ltd. as the investing party of Shanghai. The total investment reached 18 million dollars and the registered capital reached 10 million dollars. The shareholding proportion is Shanghai party 75% and Hong Kong party 25%.
